Seeking to model God's purpose for all humanity, Dwight Mission strives to increase Christ's witness in the world by proclaiming, presenting and participating in God's love, by providing a natural sanctuary for God's people where the good news of the Gospel becomes operative in their lives, and by working with Cimarron, Indian Nations, and Eastern Oklahoma Presbyteries in this ministry.

Youth Celebration at Mo-Ranch (SHYC)
one session only
June 21-28

cost: $450

grades 10-Grad

It’s time for something completely different for senior high campers at Dwight Mission.  We will be heading down to Mo Ranch in Hunt, Texas for a conference style camping experience.  Mo-Ranch Conference Center is a camp and conference center affiliated with the Synod of the Sun since 1949.

Occupying approximately 500 acres in a beautiful setting on the North Fork of the Guadalupe River in the scenic Texas Hill Country, Mo-Ranch’s youth conferences are attended by hundreds of youth each summer.  Dwight Mission campers will lodge together with our staff (all over the age of 21), and will experience the wonderful program and scenic beauty that make Mo-Ranch a unique experience.

The theme for the conference is “Lost” ~ Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek out and save the Lost.”  The theme "Lost" invokes a variety of ideas and emotions. Through the mission of Youth Celebration and Mo-Ranch, participants will be given the chance to explore ways in which people might feel or be lost. Youth will have the opportunity to learn that one can never hide from God and that Jesus Christ came to seek out and save the Lost. Activities will encourage growth in faith and a security in Jesus that will overflow to others.

This camp will meet at Dwight on Saturday the 21st at 4pm and head to Oklahoma City for the night.  From there, the campers will drive to Mo Ranch on Sunday morning.  Campers can join us at Dwight or meet up with the group in Oklahoma City.  The conference ends mid-morning on June 28 and we expect to arrive in OKC around 8pm and at Dwight at 10:30pm (we may be able to meet your ride at locations along our route).   This conference is too great to miss—a great opportunity to try something new and be part of the first year of this program.
HURRY!  Remember: the registration deadline is April 15!
