Seeking to model God's purpose for all humanity, Dwight Mission strives to increase Christ's witness in the world by proclaiming, presenting and participating in God's love, by providing a natural sanctuary for God's people where the good news of the Gospel becomes operative in their lives, and by working with Cimarron, Indian Nations, and Eastern Oklahoma Presbyteries in this ministry.

What is Presbyterian Cursillo?
Presbyterian Cursillo is a three-day faith renewal event designed to forster and support an individuals's long-term commitment to living the Christian life. Led by presbyterian lay members and clergy of the Presbyterian Church (USA), its sole purpose is to inspire, challenge, and equip local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, and communities.

"Cursillo" (pronounced kur-see-yo) is a Spansih word which means a short course in living the Christian faith. Cursillo is designed to provide a framework for developing Christians in the local church and the world.

Who Attends?
Cursillo is designed for members of the Presbyterian Church who see to continue to grow in their faith journeys.

The goals of Cursillo are to guide participants into a closer and more personal relationship with Jesus Christ; and to heighten their joy, deepen their faith, and invigorate their life for Christ.

The staff is composed of clergy and lay persons who have previously attended a weekend, and have been trained to serve in this leadership role.

What do Presbyterians say about Cursillo?

- Suzy Kelly, Bristow Presbyterian Church, Bristow OK

"Cursillo doesn't give you a procedure for bringing Christ into your environment, but it sure gives you the incentive to get in there and try!"
- Ed Spann, Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Bartlesville OK

"Cursillo has blessed me to witness first hand the miracle of Christ's commandment to love one another as He first loved us. This blessed weekend of praise, joy, and love really is a vignette of how we are intended to live."
